MY STRING JOURNEY

There could be no teacher more demanding than Ms. Kim. She helped me develop a steady, strong sound, practicing with me every weekend for three hours each morning and evening. Her dedication and rigorous training taught me precision, control, focus, and confidence, all of which have been essential to my musical growth.

Mr. Cho, my first orchestra teacher and golfing companion, is someone I deeply admire. If the day comes when I can perform with complete mastery, he is the teacher I would be most excited to play for, sharing my music as a tribute to his influence and encouragement.

Mr. Cho helped me develop many techniques through a wide range of pieces and invited me to be a founding member of the Arche Ensemble, where I had the privilege of performing with truly outstanding string musicians. Thanks to his guidance, I now have the opportunity to create beautiful harmonies with other performers and engage in meaningful community service.

Dr. Yoon helped me overcome the fear of transitioning from violin to viola, guiding me to continue my music studies with unwavering confidence. She has been more supportive and joyful than I could ever be during every audition and competition, sharing in my successes with even greater enthusiasm than myself.
